My goal for family sessions is to capture the raw emotion of a family that people may not see. I absolutely adore the photos of the family interacting with each other rather than posing for the camera. Although those posed shots are always a bonus. Family sessions are hands down one of my favorite sessions to shoot. Simply because I always get told "our family isn’t photogenic" or "our family doesn't know how to take pictures" but then we capture the most amazing images. My favorite part is when the clients see the pictures and they are just stunned, I have even been asked before "are you sure this is MY family?!". YES! Don't underestimate the works of a good photographer ;)
